Rockstar's word on GTA Wii

Rockstar have finally laid the official smack down regarding developments of Grand Theft Auto on Wii. As a quick recap, we've seen Rockstar (and it's parent Take Two) move from being a non-Nintendo club into a company focusing on Nintendo as much as anything else. Titles such as Bully and Manhunt 2 have shown the commitment of Rockstar to the Wii Platform. But as far as Grand Theft Auto goes? Company chairman Strauss Zelnick summed it up quickly saying that ''there are other titles better suited to the Wii than Grand Theft Auto.'' during the forth quarter financial results conference call. Better suited? Maybe he means Grand Theft Auto V, fan boys can only dream... Rockstar's word on GTA Wii

As long as GTA IV is released for the PC like III,VC and SA,I will be happy :P
dont see why they dont think its suited, probably dont want a law suit from over protected parents. I wonder what games they will make

I wonder what games they will make[/QUOTE]They probably mean that because of the graphics.The graphics will be great (unlike the other GTAs...maybe we do get more realistic looking people this time) and the city will be big (it's probably bigger than San Andreas).So many stuff makes me think that it just won't fit into anything else but a Blu Ray disc :lol:

And after a bit of thinking,the mature content doesn't seems like a problem is there is Manhunt 2 for the Wii already.GTA is violent,but never as much as Manhunt!

Why not make a GTA for the Wii? GTA is one of the highest selling series and the Wii is the highest selling system sounds like a match to me.
Knowing Take-Two, we'd only get a port of a PSP or PS2 GTA anyway.
Meh, GTA has never suited me.
GTA is okay.. i don't get the big fuss over it.
I can never get into a GTA game enough to actually complete... I'll do a few missions, but then I feel like doing something else...outside :?

...although I gotta admit, getting your hair done and maintaining your weight is pretty cool :P
GTA is another uninspired piece of crap similar to so many other games coming out. Besides, Rockstar uses controversy to advertise its games. The best game they made was Bully by far because it ws unique, but GTA seems to be just shock value.And by the way, NO game series is better than Mario or Zelda, especially GTA.
