Graphics & Gameplay: Zelda TP vs Zel ...

im sure this has been asked before, but im gonna ask again.i've got Zelda:TP for Wii and played it for the first time yesterday. seems really good. havnt played it before that coz i got heaps of other games and Zelda seems like the kind of game you need to play on its own so you follow the story.my issue is, im not really adjusting to using the Wii remote for it? i dunno, just doesnt feel right...does it get better further into the game? i also recently fractured my wrist so its kind of a mission to use the remote..what i wanna know is, the Gamecube version of Zelda TP..does it compare to the Wii version? is the story/all gameplay elements (except the Wii-remote features of course) and graphics identical? or does the Wii version offer a bit more? i guess one main difference would be that the Wii version can do 480p vs Gamecube's 480i resolution. its hard to notice the difference i know, the colours seem stronger in 480p but i guess thats what it does.reason i compare Gamecube is coz i really like the Gamecube controller. its comfortable, all the buttons are well placed and i just prefer the feel of holding a gamepad for these types of games.any advice? cheers.Graphics %26amp; Gameplay: Zelda TP vs Zel ...
The game is Identical except for the fact that the GC version is a mirror image of the Wii version, plus, you don't have to throw your right/left hand all over the place to attack with your sword in the GC version. The defining element for the wii version is the ability to aim by simply pointing at the screen.(which is pretty cool, I must say)there you go.That's really all there is to itGraphics %26amp; Gameplay: Zelda TP vs Zel ...
Sorry to hear you fractured your wrist. The wii remote is kinda weird to use at first, but you should get used to it soon. I've never played the GC version before, so I don't know the real differences. All I can say is that I adjusted to the wii remote pretty quickly so it should be the samefor most.... I hope.
The graphics are the same in both (and GC can do pro scan, just not 16x9).I didn't like the controls at first but I learned to like them more than a game pad by the time the 2nd dungeon came around... A thing to keep in mind is that this was a launch title, devs weren't as good at working the remote then.I say the Wii version is better for the controls overall, but if you can't play with them, you won't miss anything by going with the GC version... except it might be stretched if you have a HDTV.
I can understand how some people dont like the wii-mote due to what Jeff. G called the ''tacked on features'' but the motion sensing isnt so bad as some may say. My problem with using the wii controller is using the d-pad to use ur items as i found that it was different to the other zelda games and i still prefer the Ooft and WW way of changing items. Regardless u shouldnt concern urself to much as TP is a fantastic game, but it may be harder for u with a fractured wrist

It doesn't contribute with anything, you could just have used a button for that. The aiming though is another thing.
thanks for all the replies.yeah i do have a HDTV, 46'' Sony Bravia so i will notice the stretching i rekon. i mean Soul Calibur 2 looks wikid on the TV and its not 16:9..but yeah i dont wanna bail on the Wii Zelda yet coz i havnt really played it much and i guess im finding it harder coz of my wrist. i mean i havnt done any combat scenes yet. just like, the whole aiming at objects to look under them kind of got annoying.i'll give it a bit more time before making my decision.
if you can play mario galaxy without a problem, zelda shouldn't be a problem. i never played the GC version, but i love the wii version!
