How did you get your Wii?...

I don't really have an interesting story on how I got mine. I just came home and found out my bro casually stumbled upon one at Toys r' Us and bought it.How did you get your Wii?...

I just walked into a store, last year 4 days after my birthday (Dec.19th.. hehe still remember) -- and got the LAST ONE.
I'm friends with a Gamestop manager, so he held one for me. Knowing the right person gets the right results. :)
My story is great! :roll: I walked into the store grabbed a Wii, went up to the counter and paid for it and went home to play Zelda for 15 hours straight.

I got it at launch, target opened thier doors and and some kids stared running, but I blew past them b/c i am a track star.

I was living in Europe at the time, so there were pretty much no American wiis then, and i had to go to AAFES (has american products). And I won a lottery to get the wii, 2 days after xmas when I got my 360. :)
i gave birth
i woke up at 6 am on pre order day for the Wii, went down there and was one of the first to pre order it (My friend who was lined up from 4 am was first) so i had it pre ordered, the on launch day there was a HUGE line up at EB, the manager comes out and lets me and my friend in, everyone pissed. I was the firts one to get a Wii in that store, I walk out side and people are offering me $500 for it (cause they knew they werent going to get one) I told them to ''F'' off and I drove away a happy person.
at kmart
Camping today out since 12;30 AM. We got to stay in our vehicles though, because a kind woman made a list of names n numbers as ppl came. Yet most of the late customers didnt know about the list and were on their own. In the end most of us got a wii selling a total of 60 wiis(the amount in stock).
camped out at gamestop at 6:30 am a month or so before launch when they were doing their preorders. I was tenth in line, they had 14 to preorder. Got it at their midnight release and have loved it ever since.

I was living interstate and just decided to get one. So i walked to the nearest shop and bought one. This was about 8 months ago when there were plenty around.
my friends mom works at the walmart superstore and i got hooked up like that with a discount
I heard they were giving out vouchers at circuit city, so mybrother and I went over and waited for about an hour or two. Once the store opened, we got our wii.
I walked into a Wal-Mart after a bad exam, and there was one last Wii there. So i bought it. This was in January.
