http://nintendome.wordpress.com/2007/12/21/red-steel-2-confirmed/Man that rocks. I was a fan of the original game so this is great news to me. Maybe after EA's and Nintendo's examples with MoH:H2 and Metroid Prime 3, Ubisoft will get RS2 right. It even has online, which hopefully wil be awesome.Red Steel 2 Confirmed!
Hooray! Red Steel 2 Confirmed!
yaaaaay i was waiting so long for this to get confirmed
How do I make the link clickable? Like so anyone reading this thread doesnt' have to copy and paste it into the url.
This is as stupid as hyping Killzone 2, in fact it's even worse.First of all, Ubisoft hates the Wii and apparantly wants every Wii owner to burn in hell.Second of all, what incentive does Ubisoft have to NOT just whore out the game since the first one sold a million and the next one most likely will too?In conclusion, don't trust Ubisoft until they make a half decent game for the Wii.
They should make the controls better and the sword fights like how they are doing it in no more heroes. I didn't like it how they had the supersensitive wiimote aim. Also, I did not like how they moved for you while you hack and slash randomly.. I guess they thought that was innovative? put the game wasstill fun. I never bought, put I played at my friends house. OH, and definitly have wi fi for the sequel!
Can't wait!!! Woooooo!!!

I dont get this part- ''First of all, Ubisoft hates the Wii and apparantly wants every Wii owner to burn in hell.'' next... this thread is good because Ubisoft has a chance to redeem theirselves. If you look at the math, you'll see that ubisoft was aiming to hit 2 mil being that red steel was an opening hit. People would not know how it played yet. That was what their target was suposed to be. I did not want to contribute to ubisoft's game that had an awesome storyline, and had tons of potential. now, all they need to do is make the controls better and the sword fights like how they are doing it in no more heroes. I didn't like it how they had the supersensitive wiimote aim. Also, I did not like how they moved for you while you hack and slash randomly.. I guess they thought that was innovative? And finally, have 2-8 players multiplayer and continue the awesome story!

Ubisoft is just trying to cash in on the Wii. They said it themselves that they are just using the Wii to make a few bucks to fund their PS3/360 games. Until they put some effort into one of their Wii games, no Wii owner should trust them.
YES, I hope they make an awesome game :D
According to Gonintendo, Red Steel 2 will have better controls, better AI, and online play. There is also a strong possibilty of co-op

i hope they make it so when you use the sword it will swing in the same motion as you swing the wii remote instead of repesting a pattern.
maybe this time they can get it right!
You know... the frist one wasn't so hot. What makes you think this'll be different?

wasnt this confirmed along time ago by i think a magazine.
I really hope this sequel becomes what everyone was praying the original red steel would be. But honestly, i don't think it's going to be much better that A (which is still quite an impovement), seeing as Ubisoft had so much time and resources to develop red steel 1, and well... it didn't quite live up to the hype. I'm still optomistic though, just a little more cautious this time.
