Where does Wii store virtual console gam ...

Ok, so the Wii doesn't have a hard drive. I know it has 512 MB of internal storage, but that's too little to store games, especially for Nintendo 64 games which should take quite a bit of memory space. So, does that mean that you need to start buying SD cards if you wanna store a large collection of virtual console games ?P.S. As you may have figured, I do not own a WiiWhere does Wii store virtual console gam ...
If you buy a lot of games, then yes, you have to buy an SD Card. However, the Wii cannot play VC games unless they'e in the internal memory, so if you don't have enough space, you have to buy an SD Card, and when you want to play a game off the SD Card, just transfer a game from the Wii's internal memory to the card, and transfer the gsme you want to play to the Wii's memory. I don't know, sorry.

[/QUOTE]Thanks. So I'm wondering, about how large (in MB) can a single game be ? (I suppose N64 games are the largest)
Also, when you buy a VC game, you are free to download that game as many times as you want for free. This means you don't have to worry about deleting VC games when you're short of memory.
Nintendo found a way to compress the games without comprimiseing the quality. I have a LOT of games on my wii. 5 of which are N64 titles. and I havnt had to use a memory card yet
I've got 20+ VC games on my Wii and I've still got plenty of room. Game saves are extremely small so they won't take up much.
512mb is plenty. Most n64 games are under 20 mb(with the exception of maybe the later expansion pack titles). All the snes and genesis games are under a megabyte. So its plenty of space.
For the love of god, read my post and this time rememberNINTENDO IS CURRENTLY IN THE PROCESS OF MAKING A HARDDRIVE. IM GUESSING THAT IT WILL BE RELEASED SOME TIME IN 08. INSTEAD OF BUYING 10 SD CARDS SO YOU CAN DOWNLOAD EVERY VC GAME, WAIT A BIT AND GET THE HARDDRIVE
