I've been surfing the web looking for a nintendo wii (and failed) somewhat. Most of the websites I went to were sold out. But a few of them had these Nintendo wii bundles with 10 games 2 wiimotes and nunchuks; they sell for about $600. So here's what's been bugging me.Most of the games that are included are 1st party, but there are some that are third party. Is it Nintendo that is trying to get more support for third party devs, or is it mostly a retailer move for the holday season? Secondly, Is it a good sign ore a bad sign? I think the last console I've seen come out in these ''bundles'' with THAT many games was the dreamcast. I think it was the dreamcast in any case...anyways...is this a bad sign? I know the Wiis are flying off the shelves, but that's only half the battle. It has to have the great games for its legacy to live. Before I get pummled by list of great games...trust me I know I've played my share of ''fair'' and ''good'' games (rating according to gamespot) and think they deserve way higher ratings, however, people that remain skeptical are only going to look at numbers...if that.Wii Bundle...Nintendo's move or retailer ...
The only game Nintendo bundles with the Wii is Wii Sports. Everything else is the retailer's decision.Wii Bundle...Nintendo's move or retailer ...
Recently, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fil-Aime complained about the Wii bundles issued by retailers, so the problem with them resides with the retailers who seek to profit from the Wii's success, not Nintendo.
well thanks I was getting ready to bump, but after a reply that simple, I guess I'm just reading too much into the situation. I'm interested in buying a wii, but I just want to make sure it has a swell future and make sure i'm getting my money's worth.
