He's definitely lying. Wiis don't even play standard DVD movies. The only system supporting Blu Ray right now is the PS3.

If the Wii did in fact play Blu-Ray discs, it would be sellign a lot faster because $250 is REALLY, REALLY cheap for a revolutionary gaming system AND a Blu-Ray disc player.Wouldn't it be ironic though, Blu-Ray disc player with the Blue light that is on the Wii? LOL, funny thought!
